Celebrating a successful International Day of the Girl Festival - focused on Education for Empowerment!
13th Oct - Today's event at Banquet Hall, PAUM Clubhouse featured enlightening speeches by Dr. Najwa Rosli and Mr. Terence Serne. We were also honored to have YB Fadhlina Sidek, Minister of Education, join us in the afternoon.
This is a collaboration between the Clinical Legal Education Programme, Faculty of Law and the Generation Empowerment Generation- Legal Response Network led by Kemban Kolektif, Legal Dignity and Telenisa. There were 14 booth and interactive activities coloured the event.
The festival concluded by the representative of the children who participated in Focus Group Discussion handing over their recommendation to the Children's Commissioner, Dr Farah Nini Dusuki.
Here's to fostering ongoing collaboration in Clinical Legal Education Programmes at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Malaya, and uniting UM alumni, law students, and NGOs for impactful co-curricular activities!
