Kuala Lumpur, 6 June 2024 – The Faculty of Law at Universiti Malaya is pleased to welcome a distinguished delegation from Hanoi Law University, headed by Dr. Doan Trung Kien, the university's Rector. This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening academic collaboration and enhancing educational opportunities for both institutions.
In June 2023, Universiti Malaya and Hanoi Law University entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster greater cooperation in legal studies. This visit serves to build upon that foundation, exploring potential areas of mutual interest and setting the stage for future partnerships.
Key objectives of the visit include identifying collaborative research projects, exchanging faculty and student programs, and developing joint academic initiatives. Both institutions are committed to leveraging their unique strengths and expertise to benefit their academic
communities and contribute to the broader field of legal studies.
