The Dean, Professor Dr. Jason Chuah, Deputy Dean for Research, Dr. Mohammad Firdaus Abdul Aziz and the Faculty Manager, Puan Nur Azwa Faharudin paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of Justice to congratulate the newly appointed Chief Justice, YAA Dato Seri Utama Wan Ahmad Farid on 28 August 2025.
Amongst other matters, the team and CJ discussed matters relevant to the legal profession, judiciary and law students. In particular, the UM team shared with the CJ the educational initiatives and curricular developments at UM Law.
We were also impressed by the new CJ's plans to address judicial wellness as a matter of some importance.
