Sarawak Government and Universiti Malaya Establish Prestigious Chair in Law Faculty to Advance New Economics
On April 23, 2025, the Government of Sarawak signed an MoA with Universiti Malaya, contributing funds to establish the 'Kursi Derma Kekal Yang Amat Berhormat Premier Sarawak' chair, which will be housed in the Faculty of Law. This initiative aims to advance knowledge in New Economics, focusing on Green Economy, Hydrogen Economy, Biotech Healthcare, AI, and Sustainable Development Goals.
