Kuala Lumpur ,5 June 2024 – The Faculty is excited to share with you some incredible moments and reflections from the book launch of "Playbook on Human Trafficking/Playbook Pemerdagangan Orang” and “Handbook on Human Trafficking: A Legal and Criminological Perspective” held on 4 June at Tanjung Lounge, World Trade Centre.
The books are a testament to the country’s efforts on combatting trafficking in persons in Malaysia and worldwide.
The event started of with a heartwarming speech by Prof Jason Chuah, the Dean of the Faculty of Law followed by the speech and book launch gimmick officiated by Puan Syuhaida Abdul Wahab Zen, Secretary NSO MAPO, KDN.
The event that was attended by officials from MAPO, PDRM, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, CSOs, lawyers, UM lecturers and students was truly a cheerful and memorable one.
Dr Haezreena would like extend her heartfelt thanks to those she highlighted in the book acknowledgments and all the guests who came for the event.
