Visiting Researchers

The Faculty welcomes academics, researchers and scholars to the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  To further examine our research profiles, kindly visit the link on Research.  

Visiting researchers to the Faculty may stay for up to six months, enjoying access to research facilities during their stay.  The Faculty considers applications from visiting researchers whose research interests reflect those of the Faculty and also the Institution that they come from, and who are able to finance themselves.  Invitations are subject to the number of research associates already visiting the Faculty at any given time.

As a visiting researcher you have access to the Faculty of Law library facilities and a shared office room at the Faculty.   You are also encouraged to attend any of the Faculty’s public lectures and seminars.  Our academic staff are happy to meet and discuss your research interest, but cannot supervise your work.  We would also be very glad to have you present a Faculty seminar towards the end of your visit, if you so wish to do so only.  It is not a compulsory component.
